Job Description:

A global engineering business are currently looking for an experienced Warehouse Stock Controller to join their busy team in a permanent position.

The successful candidate will perform a key role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations and ensuring effective stock management.

Warehouse Stock Controller responsibilities:

• Booking in Goods: Responsible for the accurate systematic booking in and recording of incoming goods using SAP computer system
• Forklift Counterbalance Operation: Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck efficiently moving and organising products within the Stores department
• Stock Control: Monitoring and managing stock levels, ensuring that all inventory is readily available and accurately accounted for as required
• Inventory Checks: Conducting regular inventory checks and audits to ensure the accuracy and accountability of stock levels

Experience required:

• Previous experience of working in a stores or warehouse environment within a manufacturing / production environment is preferred
• Familiarity with SAP or a similar stock control system is advantageous
• A valid (or recently expired) Counterbalance Forklift licence along with the experience of operating a Forklift confidently and safely is required
• Full UK Driving Licence is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills are requested
