Job Title: Warehouse Stock Controller

Location: Essex, UK

Salary: £35-40,000

Our client, a dynamic and growing food manufacturing company based in Essex, is seeking a meticulous and experienced Warehouse Stock Controller to join their team. As a vital part of our supply chain, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock levels, ensuring efficient stock management, and supporting overall warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain SAP system with accurate data and issuing of relevant reports
2. Document control and compliance of all inbound and outbound stock
3. Stock Inventory of site stock
4. Be responsible for managing and running planned stock takes
5. Perform cyclic stock checks
6. Minimise and remove obsolete stock
7. Attend daily operations meetings to share and gather necessary warehouse performance information, participating as appropriate to improve performance
8. Identify and flag up any potential material shortages, communicating across the business in a timely manner to prevent shortages
9. Provide support to the wider operations team as required
10. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures including health & safety and food safety

Personal Profile:

1. Proven experience of in-depth working with SAP
2. Experience of working within a food manufacturing environment with evidence of maintaining production data and reporting
3. Carrying out periodic reviews of outgoing orders to ensure accuracy of shipments and respective stock records
4. Ensure mistakes, inaccuracies, and discrepancies are investigated, addressed, and resolved
5. Work with the warehouse management to ensure proper arrangement of stock to allow for optimum efficiency and organisation
6. Able to work under pressure and constantly re-prioritise, results focused
7. Operates with an efficient work style, coupled with attention to detail and good time management
