Job description

Our client in Kemble, close to Cirencester, is looking for ongoing Warehouse Order Pickers.

This will be an ongoing assignment with opportunities to go permanent after 13 weeks.

The role will be starting immediately.

Duties:
  • Working within a warehouse environment, picking and packing light clothing goods.
  • Supporting all operations within the warehouse when required.
  • General warehouse duties including keeping workstations clean.
Requirements:
  • Own transport is required to and from site. This is not on a public transport route, so own transport is essential.
  • Safety shoes and Hi Vis are required for all temporary workers, with no set uniform required. Protective overalls are provided.
  • Previous experience within a warehouse environment preferred but not essential.
Pay:
  • £11.44 per hour
  • Rising to £12 after 12 weeks
  • From April, you will receive £12.21 per hour
Shifts:
  • Wednesday to Saturday 06:00-16:30

You have the opportunity to be trained across multiple departments including picking/packing, put away, and returns. This assignment will involve picking and packing of light clothing goods, the majority of which are for outdoor activities.

During your time, you will be trained to become a multi-skilled warehouse operative with development opportunities for the right candidates. Once a permanent member of staff, you will receive numerous benefits including up to 40% off on branded goods sold by the company.
