Job description

We are looking to hire an excellent warehouse worker to join our team. As a Warehouse Worker within the Central Parts Warehouse, you will undertake Goods Inwards, Picking, Packing & Assembly activities in accordance with the company quality, productivity, and Health and Safety standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Goods Inwards
  • Receiving & Signing for deliveries.
  • Unpacking of items, carry out part number & quantity check against supplier advice note.
  • Goods Receive orders via SAP (business system).
  • Label & Put Away items in the relevant bin locations.

Picking:
Pick components using the Voice Assisted Picking system, paying particular attention to correct material, description & quantity.


Packing:

  • Check components against paperwork (material number, description, qty) & adhere to any special customer remarks on the paperwork e.g. pack in white boxes.
  • Assemble non-tested mechanical seals.
  • Pack all products carefully in accordance with company practice.
  • Complete documentation on business system & pass to the Despatch department for onward customer shipment.

Assembly Activities:

  • Assembly of Mechanical Seals using various applicable tools.
  • Administer the test cycle.
  • Pass to the packing stage.

General Duties / Requirements:

  • To conduct all duties in accordance with company requirements on H&S, Quality, Environment, Security, and Business Ethics.
  • On occasion, as required, carry out any other duties of a reasonable nature and within capabilities within the CPW Department.
  • Support Continuous Improvement activities within the Department.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Flexible approach to business needs.
  • Must be able to follow Processes and Procedures.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Basic Computer skills.
