Our in-vitro Diagnostic Assay manufacturing site in Dundee has an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operator to join the team.
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
- The role is an individual contributor position.
- Expectations are aligned with the Capabilities and Behaviours outlined in the Abbott Dundee Employee Handbook.
- The Warehouse Operator is responsible for the safe receipt and management of inventory.
- Inventory management must adhere to current best practices and Quality standards.
- Responsibilities are aligned with the expectations set by the Warehouse Supervisor.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Conduct activities in line with Abbott Dundee's Health & Safety culture.
- Follow instructions, such as SOPs, to manage the supply chain accurately and maintain quality standards.
- Complete quality documentation according to GMP requirements.
- Participate positively in training and self-development.
- Operate Warehouse apparatus.
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities related to product line, process, documentation, material, and workplace organization.
- Perform other duties as requested by the Line or Department Manager.
BASE REQUIREMENTS
- Nat 4 or equivalent in English, Maths or equivalent experience to demonstrate literacy and numeracy skills.
- Hold an active forklift license, or capable of obtaining a forklift license.
