Abbott Rapid Diagnostics (formerly Alere) is part of Abbott’s Diagnostics family of businesses, bringing together exceptional teams of experts and industry leading technologies. Our in-vitro Diagnostic Assay manufacturing site in Dundee has an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operator to join the team.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

  • The role is an individual contributor position.
  • Expectations are aligned with the Capabilities and Behaviours outlined in the Abbott Dundee Employee Handbook.
  • The Warehouse Operator is responsible for the safe receipt and management of inventory.
  • Inventory management must adhere to current best practices and Quality standards.
  • Responsibilities are aligned with the expectations set by the Warehouse Supervisor.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Conduct activities in line with Abbott Dundee's Health & Safety culture.
  • Follow instructions, such as SOPs, to manage the supply chain accurately and maintain quality standards.
  • Complete quality documentation according to GMP requirements.
  • Participate positively in training and self-development.
  • Operate Warehouse apparatus.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities related to product line, process, documentation, material, and workplace organization.
  • Perform other duties as requested by the Line or Department Manager.

BASE REQUIREMENTS

  • Nat 4 or equivalent in English, Maths or equivalent experience to demonstrate literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Hold an active forklift license, or capable of obtaining a forklift license.

  • Knowledge of GMP processes and procedures.
