Warehouse operatives with FLT & Bendi

Job Type: Bendi Forklift driver
Contract length: Temp to perm
Pay: up to 12.50 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

Brook Street are currently looking for an experienced warehouse operative with a bendi forklift licence to join our client based in Sittingbourne.

As a warehouse operative, you will be supporting the logistics managers to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse's day-to-day running.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate Forklift Trucks (FLT) and Bendi trucks safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload goods from vehicles and containers.
• Pick and pack orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment.
• Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory management.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid Forklift Truck (FLT) and Bendi truck licences.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
• Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy items.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and safety.
