Warehouse Operative/QC Sampler

We are seeking a meticulous and reliable Warehouse Operative to work as a Quality Control Sampler for a period of 3 months. If you have a keen eye for detail, a commitment to excellence, and a current Flexi Bendi/Pivot Steer FLT license, we want to hear from you. Full QC Sampling training will be provided.

Hourly Rate: £14.16
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 13:30 to 22:00 and Friday 13:30 to 17:30
Interviews will take place: 14/01/25

Warehouse QC Sampler Requirements:

1. Current Flexi Bendi/Pivot Steer FLT license.
2. Keen eye for detail and high accuracy in work.
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
4. Good communication skills.
5. Familiarity with GMP guidelines.
6. Knowledge of ISO standards.
7. Experience operating runabout truck.

Warehouse QC Sampler Key Responsibilities:

1. Check and label all incoming raw material deliveries.
2. Sample all incoming chemical raw materials.
3. Ensure the sampling booth and associated equipment are clean and available for use as required.
4. Manage and replenish sampling equipment as needed.
5. Sample, test, and approve for use all incoming packaging components.
6. Report any issues with incoming raw material promptly to the Raw Material Team Leader or Raw Material Senior Shift Supervisors.
7. Produce and update specifications for packaging components.
8. Maintain a QC link with the Main Warehouse regarding the resolution of problem deliveries and quarantined raw materials.
9. Support the Senior Retest Analyst with sampling activity during periods of increased demand.
10. Carry out any other work that may be reasonably requested.
11. Work in an effective manner, in liaison with line management, for the efficient and safe running of the team.
12. Carry out work required in an efficient, effective, and safe manner towards the performance targets of the team.
13. Ensure activities and changes to equipment and working practices are made in line with guidelines laid out in the guide.
14. Ensure all improvement opportunities are in line with ISO standards. Ensure all manufacturing operations are defined and documented to ensure optimum performance.
15. Work to an agreed program of priorities. Provide regular feedback and progress reports. Proactively manage resources to ensure deadlines are met.
16. Operate flexi forklift truck and runabout truck as required.
