Warehouse Operative / Logistics Operator with good attention to detail, communication and organisational skills is required for a globally renowned brand based in Plymouth, Devon, South West England.

NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED – FULL TRAINING PROVIDED

Previous logistics / warehouse / stores / forklift experience would be desired but is not essential as full training will be provided for the right candidate.

SALARY: £15.53 per hour + Benefits

LOCATION: Plymouth, Devon, South West England (PL7)

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: Back Shift, 38 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 15:00 – 00:30

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Warehouse Operative / Logistics Operator with good attention to detail, communication and organisational skills.

Working as the Warehouse Operative / Logistics Operator you will support the logistics activity by receiving, handling, storing and delivering goods within the organisation whilst ensuring stock accuracy.

As the Warehouse Operative / Logistics Operator you will work well as part of a team, picking items, loading and unloading deliveries, and inspecting received goods for damage.

DUTIES

1. Efficiently receive incoming goods, ensuring they are accurately stored in the correct areas.
2. Inspect goods for any damage or missing items, ensuring quality control standards are met.
3. Verify and ensure quality labels are correctly applied to products.
4. Accurately pick items using track-and-trace systems, ensuring smooth order fulfilment.
5. Safely load and unload lorries, maintaining organised workflows.
6. Prioritize and fast-track Product Deliveries (PDs) and Quality Inspections (QIs) to the relevant areas using the correct tracking systems.
7. Manage shop floor returns, ensuring all items are processed in a timely manner.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

1. Previous logistics / warehouse / stores experience would be desired but is not essential as full training will be provided for the right candidate.
2. Forklift / FLT experience is desirable, but not essential.
3. Good communication and organisational skills.
4. Able to work as part of a team, as well as on own initiative.
5. Good attention to detail.
6. Can-do attitude.
