Warehouse Operative - Hayes

We are recruiting for a full-time Warehouse Operative (Material Handler) in the Stockley Park, Hayes area.

Job Role:
Warehouse Operative (Material Handler)

Hours:
Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm

Pay Rate:
£14.10p/h

Contract:
Temp - ongoing Full-time hours

Please note a DBS basic check will be required before starting this role!

Duties:

1. Supports team lead and other team members in all day-to-day activities
2. Inventory control & cycle counting
3. Goods receiving
4. Goods picking & packing for outbound
5. Meeting SLAs & KPI targets
6. Ensure daily housekeeping is maintained
7. Processing outbound material/orders as per work instruction
8. Communicating with other teams and providing the best service available on a daily basis

Required Skills:

1. Strong communication and organization skills
2. Good English verbal and written skills
3. Good knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, Word)
4. Ability to learn quickly
5. Ability to understand and follow standard working instructions
6. Excellent numeric skills
7. Ability to work in a team and follow instructions
8. Ability to work under pressure
9. Completing tasks in a timely and effective manner
10. Multitasking with high attention to detail

Previous Experience Required:

1. Worked in warehousing - minimum 2 years
2. Previous experience in stock receiving
3. Handled stock picking, packing, and shipping
4. Managed inventory control & cycle counting
5. Ideal experience working on WMS previously - SAP & JDA
6. Experience handling client relationships
