Job Title: Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver

Location: Leicestershire, LE15

Shift: 07:45am - 4:15pm Mon - Fri (40 hours per week)

Pay Rate: £13 - 14 per hour

Benefits: Annual Profitability bonus scheme (up to 7% of salary) subject to company performance results + 20 days holiday plus 8 public holidays (increasing 1 day per year of service to max of 25 days) + 4 x salary Death in service benefit + 5% employer contribution to personal pension scheme

The Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver Role:

1. Manage all warehouse administrative support tasks, to ensure Warehouse Operations runs smoothly and efficiently, against defined procedures.
2. Check delivery notes against the relevant accounts - check delivered quantity VS order quantity in SAP and deal with any discrepancies.
3. Support in count of goods received from suppliers against delivery notes.
4. Material handler duties to improve and maintain smooth running of all areas.
5. Support in maintaining effective stock control at all times by liaising with purchasing and production teams.
6. Operate forklift.
7. Highlighting issues/risks with warehouse/forklift systems/processes and propose remedial action/resolutions for discussion/agreement.

The Candidate:

1. Valid ITTSAR or RTITB accredited Counterbalance essential.
2. Ideally valid ITTSAR or RTITB accredited Reach truck license.
3. SAP Warehouse Management system competent or similar systems knowledge.
4. Good Microsoft Office skills is essential.
5. Experience in stores or warehouse administration activities; goods-in/dispatch processes.
6. Be able to work unsupervised and meet set deadlines.
7. Good communication skills.
8. Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
9. A problem solver and team player, also able to use initiative.
10. Excels at operating at a fast pace.
