Job description

Thrive Shepton are recruiting for Temp to Perm Warehouse Operatives / FLT Driver on behalf of our client in Wells, Somerset. To assist with warehouse, picking/packing and packaging of products to a high standard.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery.
  • Load and unload lorries, ensuring goods are handled with care.
  • Perform heavy lifting while following strict safety procedures.
  • Support shipping and receiving tasks, including accurate checks of deliveries.
  • Keep the work area clean and well-organised to ensure a safe and efficient environment.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail.
  • A positive and flexible can-do attitude.
  • Ability to work as part of a larger team or on own initiative (if required).
  • Punctual and adaptable.
  • Highly motivated.

  • Basic level of numeracy and literacy.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday 0700-1530 & Friday 0700-1430 (flexibility required in busier periods).

Pay Rate:

  • £12.50 per hour.
  • Once permanent/ fully trained pay will increase.

This role could lead to a permanent contract for the right candidate.
FLT LICENCE IS ESSENTIAL!
