Job Title: Warehouse Operative – Bristol

Location: Bristol

Salary:£14.06ph / £562.00pw

Hours:Nights, Monday to Friday, 22:00 to 06:00, 40 hours per week with paid breaks. Overtime paid at time & a half after 40 hours of work.

Annual Leave:28 days including Bank Holidays.

Reporting directly to the Warehouse Team Manager, this role offers a dynamic work environment with a variety of tasks to keep you engaged and motivated.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurate Order Picking:Utilise a handheld device to accurately and efficiently pick stock, ensuring that items are correctly loaded onto pallets for dispatch.
• Quality Checks:Conduct checks of picked stock and assembled loads prior to dispatch to ensure that all stock is handled with care and reaches the customer in perfect condition.
• Warehouse Organisation:Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse, ensuring a tidy work environment that meets hygiene standards. This includes participating in general housekeeping duties to support operational efficiency.
• Team Collaboration:Work effectively within a team environment, adhering to site Health & Safety regulations and Safe Systems of Work.
• Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE):Engage in limited MHE duties, requiring hand-eye-foot coordination for safe operation of equipment (maximum of 2 hours per shift).

What Will You Bring?

• Experience:Previous warehouse experience is advantageous, and experience with FLT Counterbalance and reach is beneficial.
• Attention to Detail:Ensure accuracy in picking stock and handling items with care.
• Reliability and Motivation:Be a dependable, self-motivated team player with a flexible approach to work.
• Training:Benefit from a comprehensive Training Programme, including Manual Handling. Having an MHE licence is advantageous, or you should be willing to upskill to become a Counterbalance/reach truck driver.
