Job description

We are looking to recruit on behalf of our client a warehouse operative to join their existing team on a temporary - permanent basis.

Duties will include:

  1. Pick computer generated orders with repetitive handling/lifting of heavy and large items.
  2. Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team.
  3. Ensure all documentation is correctly actioned for accuracy of stock.
  4. Transferring stock to its location using Forklift trucks and cranes.
  5. Assisting in the overall production and dispatch of customers’ orders.
  6. Keep work area clean and tidy.
  7. Maintain high levels of Health and Safety.
  8. Maintain regular contact and ensure any issues are communicated.
  9. Be adaptable and flexible in approach to work to meet operational requirements.
  10. Operate machinery (only when trained to do so).

An in-date counter balance FLT licence is required. Also beneficial to have a Full UK Driving licence.

Shift pattern is 8am - 4pm Monday - Friday then Monday - Friday 4pm - 12am Rotating.
