We are hiring for Warehouse Operatives to undertake general warehouse duties in Lutterworth, Magna Park. This is a friendly warehouse team that handles a high volume of customer orders, and you will be an important part of this team helping to make sure that orders are completed on time.

Duties of a Warehouse Operative

You will be working as part of a team and will be responsible for:

• Handling and lifting heavy boxes and bulky items.
• Picking/Packing using scanners.
• Carrying out a significant amount of manual handling.
• Stacking and wrapping pallets.
• Sorting parcels and organizing items efficiently.
• Unloading trailers and ensuring items are stored correctly.
• Adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
• Cleaning and tidying the workspace as required to maintain a safe environment.

Skills and Experience of a Warehouse Operative

As a Warehouse Operative:

• No prior experience is required, but it would be beneficial.
• You should have a good level of physical fitness to meet the demands of the role.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices is advantageous.

About the Client

Our client is a goods distributor that is looking for Warehouse Operatives to join their team on a temporary basis, with the opportunity to go permanent for the right person. This client has a large warehouse that has facilities such as a canteen, smoking area, free car parking, and a locker room.
