Job description

Our Kirkcaldy based client is looking for 3 Warehouse Operatives to join their established team for a minimum of 6 months work.


Your key duties will include:

  1. Assembling, fitting and repair of undercarriage systems and general warehousing duties.
  2. Build Track Groups as per customer demand and specification using hand tools and mechanical equipment. A level of labour is required due to manual handling of the lower-level parts.
  3. Shorten and lengthen chains as per customer demands and specifications using mechanical equipment.
  4. Wash and burn used track groups to allow track exchange using a Loadall, burning torch, and high-pressure washing.
  5. Warehouse duties, including picking of lower-level parts, stocking of completed jobs, and ensuring that the workshop/warehouse is kept clean and safe.

To be suitable for this busy and challenging role you will ideally have the following skills and experience:

  • Warehouse experience.
  • Workshop experience in oxyacetylene torch usage is preferred.
  • Experience of pneumatic hand tools is preferred.
  • Must have a 'can do' attitude.
  • High level of competency and organisational skills.
  • Counterbalance licence preferred.
  • Loadall licence preferred.
  • Abrasive wheels preferred.
  • Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
  • Qualified in 'First Aid' would be preferred but not essential.

This role will be Monday - Friday working (Apply online only) pm and the hourly rate will be £13.50 ph.
