Job description

Position: Warehouse Operative

Location: Great Gransden, SG19
Hours: Full Time

An exciting position has become available for a full-time Warehouse Operative based in Great Gransden. The successful candidate will work Monday-Friday 8:00am-17:00pm.

Role Requirements:

  • Forklift & warehouse experience
  • Must hold a valid Counter Balance licence
  • Excellent communication skills, speed and accuracy.
  • A flexible, friendly approach with a team focus and can-do attitude.
  • Double-check your work as you go.
  • Initiative, an eye for detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • The ability to accurately follow instructions.

Role Responsibilities:

  • You’ll support our teams with a variety of work, from picking, packing, processing to stock control and quality assurance.
  • The role is physical and will include lifting, standing, and walking. Re-palletising & labelling.
  • Accurately load parcels & pallets on vehicle.
  • Provide quality service by following organisation standards.
  • Prepare orders for daily despatch.
  • Receive & check goods in and returns.
  • Preserve a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.
  • Work well within the team.
  • Comply with Company and Health and Safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Undertake other miscellaneous duties as directed by the Manager.
  • Work safely and accurately at speed, following instructions.
