Job Title – Warehouse Operative

Department/Sector – Warehouse

Job Location – Cambridge

Salary – £18k

One of our largest logistic clients has a great opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join their team. They have offices grouped in 5 regions including Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, working with management suppliers for the operation and interconnections of ocean and air freight platforms. Our hugely successful client has invested in a wealth of training available to employees to encourage professional development within the company.

As a Warehouse Operative, you will deal with the handling of incoming and outgoing goods whilst ensuring that stock is stored appropriately. You will maintain a high level of customer service with attention to company policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Control of high value goods (receiving and despatch)
  • Accuracy of labelling and allocating stock
  • Compliant with quality requirements
  • Ensuring all failures, damages, discrepancies, and incidents are acted upon and reported
  • Compliance with ISO, company, and legal requirements with attention to aviation and premises security including health and safety
  • Assist in packing/unpacking high value equipment and possibly dangerous goods
  • Maintaining exemplary inventory levels with strict following of processes

Requirements:

  • FLT Licence – Counter Balance and Reach essential
  • Aviation Security Training
  • Dangerous goods awareness an advantage but not essential
  • Understanding of stock recording
  • Good keyboard skills
  • Excellent communication skills
