Job Description: Are you passionate about Warehouse and Logistics and looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic logistics company? We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our team at the Cribbs site. In this role, you will be using systems and scanners to receive and locate goods, pick and dispatch these goods, as well as load and unload lorries.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Using a Counterbalance and Bendi/articulated forklift to load and unload palletised goods from lorries. This will involve storing pallets away in racking.
  2. Using the warehouse system & scanner to receive, locate goods into the racking, pick & dispatch whilst handling all goods with care and attention.
  3. Replenishing and consolidation of stock when required.
  4. Assisting when required within the warehouse to include wrapping and labelling of pallets.
  5. General housekeeping and upkeep of the warehousing area and equipment.
  6. Completing any relevant paperwork in line with the warehouse processes to include reporting any defects.

Requirements:

  1. Hold either a current Counterbalance license or a Scissor Lift License.
  2. Previous experience of working within a warehouse environment.
  3. Experience with computerised warehouse management systems, Manhattan scale is advantageous.
  4. Good communication and team working skills.
  5. Attention to detail is essential.
  6. Ability to work within a fast-paced environment.
  7. Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  8. Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
