Warehouse Operative

Our client based in Ballymena is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative/ Forklift Driver to join their team!

This position will see you working within the warehouse preparing orders for delivery as per customer specifications.

Pay Rate:

£12.59 per hour

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday with a 3-week shift rotation: 6am-3pm, 8am-5pm, 10am-7pm

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

1. Maintain warehouse and yard areas in tidy condition - assisting maintenance staff as required.
2. Serving customers - loading pallets and totes.
3. Operating a semi-automated bagging line and filling tote bags.
4. Loading & unloading curtain sided deliveries by forklift.
5. Loading bulk vehicles.
6. Cleaning bulk vehicles and trailers.

Essential Criteria:

1. Manual handling experience & training.
2. Counterbalance forklift truck experience & current licence.
3. Good basic education (GCSE / equivalent in Maths and English, grade C or above).
4. Good communication, team working skills & attention to detail.
5. Basic computer literacy, experience using computer terminal controlled equipment is desirable.

Desirable Criteria:

1. Valid Telehandler License.
