Warehouse Operations Manager - Events

The Role

They are now looking for an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to manage the team and workflow of the lighting department. Responsibilities will be broad and include:

1. Overseeing the overall effective running of the warehouse in relation to lighting
2. Line managing and motivating the permanent team
3. Mentoring and developing the team
4. Leading freelance and contract staff members
5. Managing resource and the workflow of the department
6. Ensuring all event projects are effectively managed and serviced
7. Collaborating with other internal departments
8. Holding accountability for the maintenance, cleaning and testing of lighting equipment
9. Coordinating equipment requirements via Hiretrack
10. Overseeing dispatch and return of equipment from and to the warehouse

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within a technical supply or production company that services the events industry. They will have sound knowledge of lighting equipment and proven experience in people management as well as the overall running of a warehouse facility. This role would suit candidates who have experience within a technical delivery role in events looking to step away from onsite delivery.
