Warehouse Team Manager

Client
I am working with an exceptional client of mine who is well established and highly regarded within the industry. My client is looking to add strength to the supply chain by adding a Warehouse Team Manager.

Package
Salary: £40,000 – £44,000
Shift: Monday to Friday
Location: County Durham

Role

1. Managing warehouse associates, monitoring work, and ensuring safe equipment use.
2. Maintaining positive and effective working relationships within the factory organization, with other Company functions, and externally with customers and suppliers.
3. Ensuring that food hygiene and safety standards are observed at all times within the warehouse teams, and that monitoring systems (e.g. HACCP) are operated in accordance with specifications.
4. Actively promoting cost and quality awareness at all levels within the warehouse.
5. Evaluating team performance, providing feedback, and implementing training programs to improve productivity.

Requirements/Experience

1. Strong experience within operations/warehouse/supply chain management.
2. Strong experience/familiarization working within a food manufacturing environment.
3. Knowledge of ERP systems, such as SAP, is desirable.
4. PC literate including being able to work with Microsoft (Excel/Word/PowerPoint) and manufacturing systems at an intermediate level.
