Basic Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 (depending on experience)

My client is a well-established, globally recognised brand that is looking for someone who has specific knowledge of managing a busy warehouse. This role involves managing a team of approximately 20 personnel (welders, fabricators, etc.) across two shift patterns, ensuring smooth running of schedules, logistics, project delivery, and economical utilization for storing, reconditioning, and distributing finished goods and inventories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all personnel within the warehouse.
- Monitor productivity and daily work schedules of employees.
- Ensure warehouse workloads run at full capacity.
- Maintain oversight of equipment returns and ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prioritize and push equipment into the reconditioning process as needed for scheduled shipments.
- Record contact and customer feedback.
- Direct trucking and shipping operations.
- Conduct daily equipment reallocation as necessary.
- Handle all disciplinary actions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Confident in running a busy warehouse in manufacturing or distribution.
- Proven track record of warehouse growth and positivity.
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings (basic technical level).
- Ability to complete basic mathematical calculations.
- Driven, ambitious, professional candidates are preferred.
- Working at heights is an advantage but not essential.
- Full UK Driving licence (beneficial but not essential) but must be in the warehouse daily.
