Salary: 45,000 + Bonus

Location: Hoddesdon (On site)

Are you ready to take your career to the next level in the dynamic world of distribution? Our client is seeking a passionate and results-driven Warehouse Manager to lead their Hoddesdon sites!

What You'll Do:

As the Warehouse Manager, you will play a vital role in optimising productivity, quality, and service at our client's bustling distribution centre. You will lead a dedicated team of over 15 staff members, ensuring that their operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leadership & Compliance: Foster a culture of safety by ensuring full compliance with Safety, Health, and Environment policies.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain and exceed customer service levels while ensuring compliance with quality processes.
  • Inventory Management: Keep stock levels accurate and conduct regular audits to ensure proper reporting.
  • Order Fulfilment: Oversee daily picking operations, driving strategies to boost volume and reduce costs.
  • Team Development: Cultivate a high-performing, autonomous team through effective training and development programmes.
  • Engagement & Well-being: Promote employee engagement and well-being, ensuring every team member feels valued and involved.
  • Budget Management: Control costs and manage budget responsibilities effectively.

What You'll Bring:

We are looking for a proactive individual with a passion for continuous improvement and team success. Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Proven experience in fast-paced picking and distribution operations.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of delivering high-performance teams.
  • Analytical skills to set and modify KPIs effectively.
  • Familiarity with systems such as SAP and Microsoft Office.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH Managing Safely) or equivalent.
