Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: 37.5 hours Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm
Location: Burton on Trent - DE14 2WT

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking a Warehouse Manager to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• Take operational leadership and budget responsibility for managing a safe and efficient operation to help achieve operational standards and customer requirements.
• Manage productivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports, whilst ensuring that all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames and always maintaining standards of excellence.
• Collate and analyse data for the customer to deliver insights in a clear and professional manner.
• Foster a positive atmosphere in the warehouse that promotes high performance, safety, and compliance, while also engaging and motivating the team to achieve our goals together.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Previous management experience within a warehouse/supply chain environment.
• Experience of budget management, including collating data and presenting to customers.
• Strong IT Literacy - use of Microsoft Office including PowerPoint and Excel. Use of Operating and Warehouse Management Systems (SAP experience is desirable).
• An approachable and engaging manager to develop great working relationships within our established team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, to effectively engage with our customer and collaborate with internal teams.
