Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: 37.5 hours Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm
Location: Burton on Trent - DE14 2WT

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Warehouse Manager to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

1. Take operational leadership and budget responsibility for managing a safe and efficient operation to help achieve operational standards and customer requirements.
2. Manage productivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports, whilst ensuring that all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames and always maintaining standards of excellence.
3. Collate and analyse data for the customer to deliver insights in a clear and professional manner.
4. Foster a positive atmosphere in the warehouse that promotes high performance, safety and compliance, while also engaging and motivating the team to achieve our goals together.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

1. Previous management experience within a warehouse/supply chain environment.
2. Experience of budget management, including collating data and presenting to customers.
3. Strong IT Literacy - use of Microsoft Office including Powerpoint and Excel. Use of Operating and Warehouse Management Systems (SAP experience is desirable).
4. An approachable and engaging manager to develop great working relationships within our established team.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, to effectively engage with our customer and collaborate with internal teams.
