Warehouse & Operations Specialist

Location: Peterborough
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

We re looking for a Warehouse & Operations Specialist to join our clients dynamic team in Peterborough. If you re physically fit, and take pride in keeping operations running smoothly, this could be the perfect role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Order Fulfilment: Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch orders, optimising packaging for cost and efficiency.
• Stock Management: Maintain precise stock levels, conduct replenishment, and ensure a tidy, well-organised warehouse.
• Goods In/Out: Receive and check supplier deliveries, manage backorders, and ensure timely dispatch via multiple carriers.
• Local Deliveries: Occasionally handle deliveries and collections using a company vehicle.
• Operational Support: Assist with fire alarm tests, vehicle checks, and cover team duties when needed.

What We re Looking For:

• Physical Fitness: Ability to lift moderately heavy items and stay active throughout the day.
• Organisational Skills: Strong attention to detail to maintain smooth operations.
• Tech Proficiency: Comfortable using IT systems for dispatch and inventory management.
• Team Player: Excellent communication skills to work with colleagues, suppliers, and customers.
• Full Driving Licence: Required for occasional local deliveries.
• Forklift Licence (Counterbalance): Essential for safe and efficient warehouse operations.
