Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Rotational (06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00)
Location: Burton On Trent - DE14 2WT

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Warehouse First Line Manager to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods and dispatching orders.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

1. To coordinate and provide support and information in the running of a safe and efficient operation.
2. Working within clear guidelines to help achieve the operational standards and defined outcomes for your responsibility area during shift, providing reports throughout shift to business and communication to team.
3. To support the operation team to deliver their results on time in full as per dispatch schedule, providing regular updates to the Shift Manager.
4. Proactive mindset and able to react to change in circumstances when required.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

1. Managerial experience 12-18 months - essential.
2. WMS experience.
3. Good IT skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
4. Good communication skills - both verbal and written.

A recognised qualification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics will be well-received.
