Role: Warehouse Assistant

Hours: Full time

Pay: Up to £23,850 (dependent on experience)

Duration: Permanent

Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester – UK-Med Warehouses (SK4 & SK8)

This position is based in the UK; applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK and provide relevant documentation upon request.

UK-Med is a frontline medical aid charity. Born of the NHS, we’ve been working for over 30 years.

We are seeking a warehouse assistant to join our growing team. You will be working alongside the UK-Med Warehouse Manager to undertake key work in our warehouse.

Responsibilities:

  1. Managing stock, maintaining kit and equipment, and temperature mapping the facility.
  2. Supporting training events and teams who travel overseas by preparing equipment for dispatch.
  3. Driving to venues in the UK as required.
  4. Deploying as needed to support UK-Med's global projects, including assisting with urgent shipments and providing on-the-ground support during overseas deployments.

Flexibility on a day-to-day basis will be required as you will be working across two sites around Stockport, based 3 miles apart. Your positive, problem-solving approach will be crucial in adapting to the ever-changing needs of our mission.
