Pay Rate: £27,872
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday to Friday working 8am-4pm (but must be flexible to cover where needed)
Location: Wakefield - WF6 1GY

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Warehouse Admin FLM to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse administration procedures.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

  1. To directly assist management by reporting on and monitoring the effectiveness of all warehousing administration activities and performance.
  2. To supervise, implement and coordinate productivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports, ensuring that all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames, while always maintaining standards of excellence.
  3. To monitor a digital in-house tracking software system, ensuring that records are maintained and kept at optimum level.
  4. To review and manage agency costs.
  5. To plan, manage and adjust staffing levels to meet operational requirements.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

  1. Previous and practical experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader.
  2. Previous experience within an administration/systems role.
  3. Computer literate with a practical knowledge of logistics software packages.
  4. Previous experience with practical knowledge of using Microsoft Excel.
  5. Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organise and train direct reports.
