Main duties of the job

We are seeking enthusiastic, flexible, and committed individuals to join our team of ward receptionists in our surgical department. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced hospital environment, gain valuable experience, and provide essential support to patients and medical staff.

Job responsibilities

To provide high-quality reception services for the Trust, maintaining the highest standards of service delivery and Customer Care, acting as a first point of contact to patients, relatives, or other members of the public. The post holder is expected to organise their workload in accordance with the demands of the Department. To co-ordinate his/her activities to ensure efficiency of service within the organisation. He/she should exercise initiative and it is vital that confidentiality is maintained at all times. He/she will cover other receptionists' duties when applicable due to staff shortage/sickness/annual leave.
