The Ward Housekeeper has a pivotal role in ensuring quality patient experience and a clean and safe ward environment.
As a key member of the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, you will be joining an exceptional team working together to help our patients to stay healthy, when they need it most.
The Ward Housekeeper will work as part of the Facilities team at Ward level and be responsible for the co-ordination of Facilities services in the ward area, ensuring a clean, safe and comfortable environment. They will ensure that there is a seamless approach to the provision of non-clinical services ensuring the appropriate delivery of catering, cleaning and minor maintenance together with other specific tasks to meet individual patient needs.
The ward housekeeper will work closely with other Facilities departments and support services and will monitor quality standards, report deficiencies and take appropriate action.
Working Pattern: 5 days a week (Monday to Friday) on a 2-week rotating pattern. Week 1 08:00 to 16:00, week 2 10:30 to 18:30
