Job summary
The post holder will provide essential clerical support to the nursing and medical teams on the Treehouse Unit, a 46-bed paediatric unit that includes high dependency, surgical day case, assessment, and inpatient areas.
In addition to these responsibilities, the post holder will assist the ward manager with daily administrative tasks to ensure the efficient running of the unit and contribute to high standards of patient care and safety. This includes taking responsibility for the management, storage, and tracking of patient records, as well as coordinating follow-up appointments.
In addition to these duties, the role will involve supporting the ward manager with general administrative functions, ensuring smooth ward operations, and maintaining a high level of confidentiality and security for all patient-related information. The post holder will contribute to a safe and efficient environment, working closely with staff to ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed and processes are followed.
