This role focuses on being a key commercial leader to help drive growth across our Channels business including recently launched properties such as NFL Game Pass, Rally TV, Tennis TV, PGA Tour, and FIBA Courtside 1891.

This role will be based in our Hammersmith office.
As our new VP Strategy, you'll have the opportunity to:
Be a strategic and commercial leader with regards to the channels business
Take P&L ownership over a select number of channels
Evaluate and make pricing and packaging recommendations
Ongoing evaluation of channels business performance and identifying cross-functional areas of improvement
Work with DAZN’s core markets to ensure GTM plan and promotion within DAZN of the channels is being maximized
Work with product to define roadmap
Assist in preparing and presentation of materials for rightsholders
Oversee development of financial projections and reporting by finance team
Help identify new potential channels partners
Meet, pitch, and negotiate with external rightsholders to help grow the channels business
Assist in and, where applicable, lead channels negotiations including idea generation, strategic & financial assessment, deal terms, and ultimate onboarding
Over time develop relationship network with rightsholders and use as a basis to drive new potential rights opportunities
Prepare executive and board materials with regards to the channels business
Provide strategic and operational support with regards to our broader global business including our boxing business
You'll have:
Proven experience in either Tier 1 Strategy Consulting firm, Investment Banking, or In-House Strategy/Corporate Development team
Strong proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel
Demonstrable experience utilizing strategic analytical skills, including financial modelling and forecasting, market situation / trend analyses, scenario planning, go to market / roll out plans and operational feasibility assessments
Ability to crystalize key insights from data and communicate analyses in an efficient and effective manner to a variety of internal audiences across departments and functions
Strong analytical capabilities with a track record of strategic development and implementation planning
Experience working on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work both independently and as a member of the team
An understanding and interest in the sports and broader media industries
