Job overview

This role sits within Preqin, a part of BlackRock. Preqin plays a key role in how we are revolutionizing private markets data and technology for clients globally, complementing our existing Aladdin technology platform to deliver investment solutions for the whole portfolio.

You will be joining a super enthusiastic and exciting team where everyone is passionate to perform the role of full stack QA where they are responsible for end-to-end testing (starting from Analyzing the cards to testing them effectively; making sure they are automated; run in the team city pipeline and successfully released).

In this role you will:

  • Develop, refine, and test against acceptance criteria for Test Cases meeting acceptance criteria of User Stories.
  • Assist with coordination of testing activities within Business units and across the QA team.
  • Work collaboratively with all software engineers including Developers and QAs.
  • Deliver on both manual testing and automated testing, including the creation of scripts in TypeScript for inclusion in Team city pipeline (CI/CD test automation).
  • Test Automation would be expected to be written on Puppeteer/playwright TypeScript, Cucumber.
  • Understanding of API testing and making sure working closely with development team from the start.
  • Performance testing is a key part of this role, and you need to have the basic understanding of performance and load test using JMeter.
  • Ensuring that all releases for legacy and new development meets business expectation and that these expectations are documented.

  • If you have a good understanding of Type script/Puppeteer/Playwrights/team city.
  • If you know how to deal with SQL Queries, Team city, AWS.
  • If you are passionate about identifying issues on software.
  • If you understand how an API is being built and how it could be tested.
  • You enjoy a fast-paced environment where you can adapt quickly and continuously learn new things.
