A premier global entertainment company is seeking a Vice President, Business and Legal Affairs to join its International Television & Digital Distribution team in London.

This is a dynamic, hands-on role providing business and legal affairs expertise across all aspects of television and digital content licensing throughout EMEA.
Key Responsibilities:

• Structure, negotiate, and draft a high volume of television and digital distribution license agreements, including volume and output deals.
• Provide commercially focused legal advice to the International Television & Digital Distribution sales team.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Compliance and Tax teams to navigate commercial, legal, and regulatory issues.
• Offer strategic guidance on television/digital rights, windows, holdbacks, and evolving industry trends.
• Assist in training legal and sales teams, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Support the implementation of business policies and procedures.
• Mentor junior team members and provide legal support for complex transactions.

You will have:

• 10+ years PQE, including in-house experience in television and digital distribution (including finished programme sales).
• Strong expertise in contract, commercial, and intellectual property law.
• Exceptional drafting skills, with the ability to translate complex legal provisions for non-legal teams.
• Sharp attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
