Are you passionate about Yoga and wellness? Do you have a desire to help others find balance, healing, and peace in their lives? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!

Responsibilities

At Change Grow Live, we are dedicated to fostering holistic wellness within the community. We believe in the transformative power of yoga and mindfulness and strive to create a supportive environment where individuals can thrive.

We are looking for a qualified Yoga Therapist who would like to volunteer to make a difference in the lives of people who are directly and indirectly affected by alcohol and substance use. It can often be overwhelming and emotional for the people we support in the recovery community; they face many challenges, stresses, and life adjustments. By offering and teaching calming yoga techniques, you will be supporting our service users and staff to reduce daily stress and be able to relax and unwind.

What you'll do (full role description is attached):

  • Lead yoga therapy sessions tailored to individuals with varying needs, including stress relief, mobility issues, and mental wellness.
  • Make a meaningful impact in people's lives by promoting physical and mental well-being.
  • Maintain a register of appointments and record consent given.
  • Set the room up for 1-2-1 or group sessions and maintain a clean, tidy, relaxing environment.

Why volunteer with us:

  • Gain valuable experience and enhance your skills in a supportive environment.
  • Enjoy the satisfaction of making a real difference in people's lives.

What we're looking for:

  • Certification of yoga instruction.
  • Hold personal liability/indemnity insurance.
  • A compassionate, patient, and friendly demeanor.
  • Great communication skills and the ability to connect with individuals from all walks of life.
  • A willingness to inspire others with the benefits of yoga.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
