Volunteers make an enormous contribution to our work at Change Grow Live. Last year over 1400 volunteers donated over a quarter of a million hours of their time to our organisation.
Would you like to join our growing team of volunteers and make a real difference? Ealing RISE works with a number of agencies to support the residents of the borough of Ealing who are experiencing difficulties with drugs and/or alcohol. We work with the Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust and with a peer-led service called Build on Belief (BoB). We help residents of the Borough of Ealing who are over 18 and work closely with the Women’s Wellness Zone, which offers support to women with complex needs.
We are looking for passionate and reliable volunteers to join our Ealing RISE Team, who are interested in working as part of a team and would like to support individuals to change the direction of their lives, grow as individuals, and live life to its full potential.
You will work as an integral part of the multi-disciplinary team of Recovery Practitioners, Doctors, Nurses, Psychiatrists, and Psychologists to deliver high-quality provision at RISE. The purpose of this role is to support the team to:
This is an ideal role for anyone who is interested in learning and gaining experience working within a Drug and Alcohol recovery service in their community and supporting a local service to grow and maintain its social media platforms and presence. As a member of the Team, you will be offered a full training package and any additional training needed. You will be offered monthly supervisions and have access to a wide variety of extra training packages to support your development and knowledge within the recovery service.
