Are you passionate about making a difference and fostering cross-cultural understanding? The Educational Equality Institute (TEEI) is seeking volunteers for Language Connect for Ukraine, a program designed to support Ukrainians in improving their language skills through 1:1 virtual conversations. Together, we're helping displaced individuals rebuild their lives and integrate into new communities.
About the Role
As a Language Practice Partner, you'll connect with Ukrainian participants eager to enhance their conversational skills in English or other European languages. Through informal and friendly video sessions, you'll play a key role in helping them grow in confidence and communication.
What You'll Do:
- Facilitate virtual conversations to help participants practice language skills.
- Offer guidance, encouragement, and a supportive learning environment.
- Build meaningful connections while sharing your culture and learning about theirs.
