Volunteer Coordinator - Cancer Champions
We're looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Volunteer Coordinator who will support the development of the Cancer Champion service and will oversee the day-to-day activities of the Cancer Volunteer Champions. The Volunteer Coordinator will recruit and provide Cancer Volunteer Champions with training, support, and supervision. Developing and inspiring the Champions to provide an accessible, inclusive support service based on community feedback.
Main duties of the job
The CHCP Volunteer coordinator will support with expansion of the organisation through the recruitment of volunteers in the North West area and the development of a work placement program within CHCP and agreed partners.
Their primary role is to promote the CHCP Volunteer and work placement program and coordinate the recruitment and retention of volunteers and individuals on a work placement. The role includes being the central point of contact to liaise with volunteers, service coordinators, and key CHCP stakeholders for the delivery of an effective volunteer program and work placement program that meets the national Investors in Volunteers Standards.
