The Space, Defence and Intelligence business unit in CGI is a true IT Systems Integrator. Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This role will be based at a site in Chippenham 5 days a week.
Your future duties and responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced VMware Infrastructure Engineer to join our team for an exciting project based at the Data Centre in Corsham. This role involves building a VMware Development and two reference platforms on behalf of our client. The position requires a hands-on approach, with full-time, on-site presence (5 days a week) at the Gloucester location.
As a VMware Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for sizing and building target environments, including processing, storage, and network components, based on requirements captured by the project team and guided by a Technical Lead.
