Job description

Please note this is not currently an open role but we would like to hear from people who are available and interested in joining Framestore. Also, please be aware when applying that this role will be based in our London office for a minimum of 2 days a week so applicants must be within a commutable distance. Due to the nature of this role we are only able to accept applications from those living in and with right to work in the UK.

Line Producers are key to Visualisation project management. Working closely with and on behalf of the Producer or Head of Visualisation they help strategise, schedule and run successful Previs, Postvis and Realtime shows ensuring work is planned and teams are managed and resourced effectively. On smaller projects Line Producers may manage all aspects of the pre-production work.

Responsibilities:

  1. Work with the Producers and Supervisors to create, implement and run the schedule, track and manage the workflow through the departments and meet internal and external deadlines.
  2. Organise dailies, meetings, reviews, the taking of notes and follow up of information.
  3. Ensure the production database is kept updated daily with notes and critical information.
  4. Communicate information quickly and succinctly both internally and externally.
  5. Anticipate and communicate issues to the Producer and Supervisor in order to resolve problems quickly.
  6. Organise client deliveries.
  7. Manage resources and communicate coherently with other support departments.
  8. Work closely with the crewing team, HoV and supervisors to crew up on a project basis.
  9. Manage the coordinator on a project basis.
  10. Ensure security protocols are observed on a project basis.
  11. Organise project post mortems and wrap.
  12. Liaise with systems and Pipeline HODs when necessary.
  13. Maintain a positive and professional working environment.
  14. Assist the Production team with additional ad hoc duties as required.

Essential Skills

  1. Previous experience as Visualisation Coordinator or VFX Senior Coordinator.
  2. Strong intuitive scheduling and forecasting skills.
  3. Good understanding of pre-production and various aspects of VP.
  4. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google apps and Shotgun.
  5. Strong organisational and time management skills.
  6. Strong communication skills.
  7. Ability to organise, flow and prioritise tasks.
  8. Calm, confident and positive demeanour.
