Purpose of the role

The Visual Merchandiser will act as a brand ambassador, who will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining visual merchandising strategies and guidelines that enhance the customer experience, drive sales, and promote the brand’s image. This is a cross functional role working across retail and wholesale partners. This role requires a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and a keen eye for detail to ensure that our retail spaces are visually appealing and aligned with our brand's identity.

Responsibilities

Guideline Execution:

  • Ensure implementation of comprehensive visual merchandising guidelines for store layouts, window displays, and in-store presentations, ensuring consistency and adherence to brand standards.
  • Ensure guidelines are clear, detailed, and easily executable by store teams across various locations.
  • Conduct regular store visits to provide training, support, and feedback to store teams on visual merchandising techniques and best practices.

Trend Analysis and Innovation:

  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to continuously innovate and enhance visual merchandising strategies.
  • Experiment with new ideas and concepts to create engaging and dynamic visual displays.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Analyse sales data and customer feedback to measure the impact of visual merchandising initiatives and make data-driven adjustments.
  • Report on the effectiveness of visual merchandising efforts and provide insights for continuous improvement.

Qualifications, Skills, Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Merchandising, Interior Design, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in visual merchandising, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Proven experience in creating and implementing visual merchandising guidelines.
  • Strong creative and artistic skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
  • Ability to travel to various store locations as needed.
