Our East Midlands team are looking for a motivated, people-focused Duty Manager to join our small team at our wonderful Stoke Bruerne visitor attraction. As Duty Manager, you will love working with people including visitors, customers, volunteers, and local community groups to create a warm and welcoming environment and a memorable visit. You will ensure that the daily team is highly motivated and well-trained to deliver exceptional service levels. Site presentation and visitor expectations will be exceeded wherever possible to encourage repeat visits and inspire a generation of new audiences.
The Duty Manager will take responsibility for a range of specific operations as required by the Manager such as:
This post will specifically support the kitchen and cafe, delivering systems and processes for compliant operations. As well as supporting the day-to-day food and beverage operations front of house, this role line manages a team of staff and volunteers and will lead the creation of new volunteer roles, recruitment, writing inductions, and delivering catering compliant training. This role will also support partnership projects based at site including ‘café takeover’ events run by colleges and delivered by students of different ages and capabilities.
The health and safety of our colleagues and visitors is of the highest importance and the Duty Manager will ensure the highest standards are maintained at all times, promoting the Trust’s values and behaviours. The role acts as Duty Manager on a rota basis over a flexible 7-day rota.
Flexibility is very important in order to be certain that we can respond to site needs when they occur. Please only apply if you are happy to work an average of 37 hours a week on a rotating shift pattern.
