As Clinical Virology Operations Manager, you will provide operational leadership in the clinical virology area for ViiV Healthcare.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:

  1. Provide operational leadership in the clinical virology area for VH.
  2. Provide sample & systems management across various studies.
  3. Collaborate with clinical virologist team members to design, execute and manage external contracts.
  4. Provide medical writing support.
  5. Project management of collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
  6. Liaising with our cure & remission and bioinformatic team.

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in a life science field.
  2. 3+ years of experience in drug discovery and clinical development; medical affairs and/or post-marketing support is a bonus.
  3. 1+ years of research experience in Infectious Diseases; experience in HIV treatment, and prevention research with credible external presence a bonus.
  4. Experience working in a matrix team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  1. Masters Degree or PhD.
  2. Profound knowledge of HIV virology, including potential therapeutic interventions.
  3. Good understanding of strategic program planning and execution.
  4. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  5. Proven ability in execution and deliverables.
  6. Understanding the clinical trial process from concept study idea to publication and Regulatory submissions.
  7. Effective communication and presentation skills.
  8. Good interpersonal relationship building/maintenance.
  9. Excellent qualification in cross-functional project management and proven team working spirit.
