Job description

Project 1 – Companions Networks

  1. Review the existing Safran Nacelles Group direct workforce development programme to design one for the UK speaking sites.
  2. Lead collaboration with other Safran Nacelles colleagues.
  3. Co-ordinate all activities to deploy the programme.

Project 2 – Inclusion & Diversity Strategy - Fly Together

  1. Develop the deployment of the Safran UK Inclusion and Diversity strategy on the Burnley site.
  2. Ensure training is deployed for all managers and colleagues by the end of the year.
  3. Support communication of chosen key events throughout the year.
  4. Benchmark best practice organisations.

Support for HR Department

  1. Support the HR department in delivering departmental objectives, including:
  2. The career management and talent development processes for the site.
  3. Improvement projects such as 5S activity, idea generation and carbon reduction.
  4. Support with any additional ad hoc projects as may be required by the HR department.
  5. Day-to-day operational HR activities.

Risk Management

Identify & escalate any risks or concerns in relation to product or people safety using the company tools & processes.

Job Requirements

Knowledge

  1. Human Resources related Degree / HND, or equivalent experience.
  2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  3. Project management and process improvement skills.
  4. Presentation Skills.

Skills & Qualities

  1. Experience of complex problem solving and the delivery of improvement projects.
  2. Work with line managers / Senior Managers.
  3. Represent Nacelles Limited by contributing and interacting with HR teams within the group.
  4. Excellent communication skills.
  5. Good time, priority management skills.
  6. Innovative and creative in approach.
  7. Motivated by doing a good job, takes a lessons learnt approach.
  8. Can work alone or in a team environment.
  9. Accuracy in administration skills.
  10. Strong ‘can do' attitude.
