Darktrace
London
GBP 40,000 - 60,000
Job description

What will I be doing:

We are building a team of creative-minded individuals who can help elevate and nurture a world-class Blue Chip brand. We are passionate about our work and we thrive on new creative opportunities. This team is responsible for the expression of the Darktrace brand in every aspect of the human experience. We know we have a great story to tell, and we are looking for the best, most talented team of storytellers to help tell it. Our internal creative agency is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Video Producer who lives and breathes brand experience, creative storytelling, drives ideation and creativity while thinking about the strategic big picture.

As Video Producer, you will contribute to the delivery of high-fidelity video assets from concept to final render utilizing multiple production techniques across broadcast and digital channels. This is a hands-on position that includes executing on creative direction, creating brand/category specific templates, establishing procedures, building production workflows, and ensuring visual consistency across multiple projects and categories, all while continuously raising the bar on quality. At the core, you’re a natural storyteller regardless of message complexity. You thrive on collaboration and work well with internal creatives but can manage external vendors. Our team is small and nimble so your ability to wear many hats is critical. You will work with cross-functional teams (PMMs, sales, developers, and other designers), guiding them through outlining a script and storyboarding. You will then use the various inputs and resources available to you to assemble the messaging into concise narratives that are clear, compelling, and engaging. You know the Adobe Production Suite like the back of your hand, and you miss it when you’re away from it. You have a strong familiarity working with high-end camera and audio systems to facilitate different production asks. If you don’t know how the tech works at first, you put in the leg work to attain the knowledge to drive these devices well.

Some responsibilities include:

  • Managing and delivering quality video content on time, on budget, on brief, and on brand.
  • Working with the supervisors/producers assessing and scoping inbound projects.
  • Determining and scoping project resource requirements and engage vendors.
  • Connecting directly with agencies, freelancers, and production companies where required.
  • Facilitating all areas of pre-production which includes scripting, storyboarding, motion animatics.
  • Providing expertise and guidance in reviews, ensuring best practices are applied during all phases of production.
  • Recommending and supporting new or improved departmental/workflow production procedures.
  • Facilitating all areas of production which includes video editing & compositing, motion graphics, sound design, shooting, audio recording, studio operations, lighting for video shoots, green screen composition & setup, teleprompter use and setup, location scouting and clearances.
  • Facilitating all areas of post-production which includes export of media into multiple file formats & specific conversion of files.
  • QC all final deliverables before delivery to minimize project risks and extra cycles.
