We are seeking a talented and creative Freelance Video Editor to join our team on a project-by-project basis. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for transforming raw footage into polished, engaging, and visually compelling video content. Responsibilities

1. Edit video content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and presentations, ensuring high-quality output.
2. Collaborate with producers, directors, and other team members to achieve the desired vision for each project.
3. Incorporate visual effects, graphics, music, and sound design to enhance the final product.
4. Review and organize raw footage, maintaining consistency in style, tone, and branding.
5. Ensure videos are optimized for different formats, including landscape, vertical, and square dimensions.
6. Revise edits based on feedback while meeting project deadlines.
7. Stay updated on video editing trends, tools, and techniques to deliver fresh and innovative content.

Qualifications

1. Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of video styles.
2. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
3. Knowledge of motion graphics software (e.g., After Effects) is a plus.
4. Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and composition.
5. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work efficiently under tight deadlines.
6. Excellent attention to detail and a creative mindset.
7. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.

Preferred Skills

1. Experience with color grading, sound editing, and post-production workflows.
2. Familiarity with social media platform requirements and trends (e.g., Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok).
3. Knowledge of animation or 3D editing is a bonus.
