  • Technology Integration: Leverage technology and supply chain management software tools to enhance operational efficiency and visibility.
  • Sustainability Initiatives: Explore and implement strategies to enhance sustainability within the supply chain. This includes assessing supplier practices, optimizing transportation methods, and reducing waste throughout the supply chain process.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the supply chain budget, ensuring alignment with overall organizational financial goals. Monitor expenditures and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining high standards of quality and service.

We are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred or an MBA with a focus on supply chain management.
  • Significant experience in supply chain management, in a leadership role within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry, with the ability to identify potential risks and leverage technology.
  • Extensive knowledge of viral vector production processes and related supply chain challenges, including raw material sourcing, production scheduling, and distribution logistics.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex supply chains, particularly in regulated environments, with a focus on quality assurance and compliance.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions that enhance supply chain performance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners, influencing stakeholders at all levels.
