Position Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Vetting Officer to join our team and conduct thorough background checks on potential candidates.

Your future duties and responsibilities

1. Preparing detailed reports summarizing findings and recommendations based on the vetting process.
2. Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate findings and recommendations.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

1. You must have an eye for detail.
2. Be computer literate.
3. Have a good, confident telephone manner.
4. Be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders both internal and external.
5. Must be able to manage the lifecycle for candidates going into the vetting process, collating information, ensuring compliance, managing and submitting candidates and communicating with stakeholders.
6. Analysing and interpreting information gathered during the vetting process to assess an individual's suitability and identify potential risks.
7. Handling sensitive information with utmost discretion and adhering to strict confidentiality protocols.

Must hold a valid UKIC higher level clearance.
