Exciting Opportunity for a Recently Graduated or Experienced Small Animal Vet

Are you a recently graduated or experienced vet looking for a supportive and friendly environment to kickstart your career? Look no further! This state-of-the-art, well-equipped practice located in the heart of the Wirral is looking to expand its fantastic team by welcoming a new Small Animal Vet.

This is a busy and well-established practice that prides itself on excellent clinical and client care. Situated in the vibrant West Kirby community, the hospital-standard facility has built strong, lasting relationships with clients and continues to grow. They offer a great work-life balance, making them an ideal place for a recent graduate or developing vet to develop and thrive professionally.

The experienced team of 4 vets has over 60 years of combined experience, and also have a fantastic group of nurses and receptionists who support each other and share a passion for animal care. The vet team have special interests in areas including feline medicine, rabbit care, and charity work with wildlife sanctuaries. With support from Vet GDP advisors and mentors in practice and across the group, you’ll have plenty of opportunities for mentorship and continued learning. And with their own referral centre also situated in the area you can be assured that you will have access to see cases through to the end.

The Role:

  • Full-time, 4-day working week (plus 1:4 Saturday shifts, 9am-5pm)
  • 1:12 Sunday shifts
  • Participation in the bank holiday rota
  • OOH services managed by MiNight Vets
  • Supportive team with guidance from experienced mentors
  • Focus on developing your clinical skills with plenty of hands-on experience
